Caesars Entertainment open to sell of Showboat

According to the Philadelphia Inquirer, Caesars Entertainment will consider selling the Showboat Casino in Atlantic City instead of shutting the property down. Caesars announced in June that the Showboat would cease operations, sending its 2,100 employees notices that the casino planned to close by August 31, 2014. The Showboat is one of four Atlantic City casinos owned by Caesars.
