Macau gaming revenues decline for the first time in four years

According to Reuters, Macau gaming revenue dropped 3.7% in June 2014, representing the first decline since June 2009. Analysts believe the soccer World Cup temporarily diverted gamblers and hefty betting away from the casinos. The market is expected to rebound growth in coming months and regain momentum due to solid spending from Chinese visitors.
